After taking the 'Nuclear Weapons and Global Politics' module, final year International Relations BA student Emily Faux was selected to be part of the first cohort of mentees for the Young Women in Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, a highly competitive mentorship programme funded by the EU and hosted by the International Affairs Institute (IAI) and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP).

As a mentee, Emily is invited to monthly conferences in the field of non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament and engages in 1-1 video conferencing with experts in the field. Through the network Emily has established, she has organised a series of interviews for Responsibility Collective, to inspire more students and young professionals to engage with gender and nuclear politics.
